Sponged Rainbow Manicure

Happy Thursday. Today is a holiday in Germany and I am happy to have my best friend visiting from Austria. Really need some girl time! And this day is also special to me, because today is my 6 month blogging anniversary! Wohooo... Time really does fly by!

Since summer is almost here I decided to do a colourful rainbow manicure.

I started off with a basecoat and two coats of china glaze - White On White and then spongend on my rainbow diagonally using these colours:

NYX - Bimbo, Pop Culture and My Sunshine, essie - vice versa and mezmerised and Maybelline Color Show - Purple Gem.

To save me a lot of cleanup I taped my fingers with scotch tape before I started stamping. I think it is totally worth the effort, but you have to decide that for yourself.

Doesn't this look cute instantly? The colours worked so well together. I repeated the process about two to three times on every nail until I had good coverage and a soft gradient between colours.

As you can see there is not a huge mess around my nails after I removed the tape. Finishing it off with a topcoat made the colours come together and pop even more.

In daylight and direct sunlight the colours look so bright! I love it! :-D

You probably can tell, that this manicure turned out pefectly in my opinion. Just what I had hoped for if not a bit more!
