OPI - Color To Diner For

Hello Lovelies!

Happy Sunday! Today I want to show you the perfect red polish! This is OPI - Color To Diner For (NL T75).

Color To Diner For is a luscious cherry red creme polish with silver microglitter in it, that makes it a bit shimmery. The formula is excellent and applies smoothly. It is perfectly opaque in two coats and dries super fast.
I used a Maybelline base coat for this manicure as I always do with dark colours to protect my nails from discolouration and sealed the polish in with a good layer of Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat to make it last longer. After three days there was only minimal tip wear.

In daylight the polish appears to be a bit darker. More like a burgundy or ruby red wich is also a wonderful colour! I love how the glitter shines through when it is caught by light.

For me this is the perfect red because it goes quite well with my skintone and can be worn year round. The colour is perfect to wear every day and the glitter makes it extra special to be appropriate for any special occasion too, but not too sparkly. In my opinion this Color really is To Die For! ;-D

Stamping on Ruby Kisses - Twinkling Mauve

Hello Beauties!

Oh my, where did that day go... Time went by so quickly. So here is an evening post for you today and I want to do a quick one, since it is pretty late.
Using my Nailfun stamping polish in black I did a little flower design on Ruby Kisses - Twinkling Mauve.

Since Twinkling Mauve is pretty shiny and metallic it is pretty hard to see the whole design on the pictures very well si I decided to show it to you also on my plain nail. I used the Konad stampingplate m82. This flower and butterfly design is on the bottom of the plate.

To add a bit more colour I placed one dot of essence brit-tea - Green Tea For Two into the center of each flower.
I am pretty happy with the way this manicure turned out. I still have to work a bit on my aim to make it a bit more even on all my nails, but I really think it looks cute. Especially the little butterfly.

What do you think about this manicure? Do you like my stamped flowers?

essence - nail art special topper - glorious aquarius

Hello everyone!

And Happy Friday! Today I want to show you a glitter topper from essence by the name glorious aquarius.

Glorious aquarius (10) contains light blue and silver iridescent hexes in three different sizes from very small to medium. It sparkles with any lighting. I used it on top of essence - prince charming, wich I shared with you here, and they really complement each other perfectly!

In direct sunlight you can see price charmings shimmer shining through wich makes this manicure even prettier. As most glitter toppers glorious aquarius is a bit gooey but still quite easy to apply. And the glitter density is good too. I only used one layer of glitter topper in these pictures.

I can't stop looking at it and wiggling my fingers!

How do you like this glitter topper? Do you like sparkly, glittery nails?

ANNY - diva

Hello Beauties!

Today I want to show you a great spring polish. This is ANNY - diva (220) from my Easter Haul.
Diva is a lilac creme polish with a wonderful formula. It is so easy to apply and will not give you any trouble at all. I applied two thin layers for full opacity wich dried quickly. The polish is quite glossy on its own, but in these pictures you see it with Seche Vite topcoat.

What I love about this polish is that it looks a bit different in each light. Sometimes it is leaning towards blue, sometimes it is brownish or on the purple side. For a monochrome polish the variety is pretty awesome.
I think it is the perfect colour for late spring. Looking outside of my window right now, I see so many similar colours in our garden. Blooming flowers, trees and bushes don't lie, do they? :-)

Here are some impressions from the garden, that totally fit this wonderful polish:

I really love this gorgeous colour! How do you like this polish? Is diva a colour for you?

OPI - I Have A Herring Problem

Hello Lovelies!

How are you today? Any plans for this lovely Wednesday? Today I want to share with you OPI - I Have A Herring Problem (NL H58).
I got this polish in a multipack that I bought online and was not sure whether I liked this colour or not, when I first saw it in the bottle, but I thought I'd give it a try and decide later.
I Have A Herring Problem is a grey creme polish with a soft golden shimmer. The polish also has a hint of blue to it wich I did not really catch on the pictures. It has a great formula and was super easy to apply. With two coats it was opaque but I ended up with three coats to intensify the colour.
I Have A Herring Problem is a great colour and I wore it for a few days, because I liked it so much on my nails. It is simple yet elegant and I did not find a single item in my closet that didn't go well with it. The golden shimmer even let's you wear it with nude or tan colours that usually are a bit tricky in combination with grey polish.

If you are looking for an allrounder, this is it! If you find a colour it doesn't wear well with, let me know!
