Hello Beauties!
I hope you all had a lovely Easter! I'm really sorry I didn't post for a few days, but now I am back and want to show you a polish I picked out inspired by the weather we were having here over the last couple of days. It was snowing on a regular basis, but thankfully it was not that much. And the sun melted the snow quickly.
This is essence - sparkling water lily. I layered two coats of this very sheer, pearly shimmering creme polish over two coats of china glaze - White On White to get good coverage. On my thumb I applied sparkling water lily on its own to show you the difference. There is still a bit of VNL, but due to the flash (or sunlight as you will see below) the pearly shimmer coveres it almost up completely. In nature the nail line was way more visible.
The formula of this polish was excellent and so easy to apply. I really love the flat rounded brush that comes with these polishes. And the colour is pretty too. I bet this would look gorgeous with a stamped design on it in any colour and very elegant with a black design.
In sunlight it almost looks like it has a satin finish. Really pretty, but it doesn't go well with my skintone I think. Maybe a little tan would help.
What do you think about this polish? Is it something you can wear?
