flormar nail enamel - 236

Hello Beauties!

How are you today? I am glad the sun is out again after a couple of rainy days. It is still quite cold in the morming, but that is fine. I just don't like the grey weather. It makes me want to stay in bed all day long! So today I am going to show you a manicure to weak everybody up (myself included!).
This bright orange creme polish is 236 by flormar. I have searched a lot for the name, but unfortunately I didn't find anything. I still love this polish. Look at that colour! It pops right into your eyes when you get a glimpse of it and when you look closely you can see the beautiful golden shimmer. The formula is excellent and similar to the other flormar polishes I've used so far. It is almost opaque with the first coat, but for perfect coverage I needed two.
236 applied smoothly and required absolutely no clean-up. I love this summery and bright colour. It is even lovelier on the nails than it looks in the bottle. In direct sunlight this orange polish is so sparkly and reminds me a bit of a fire by the beach.
How do you like the combination with the tribal accent nail? Do you remember the other two variations with auburn and light blue? (I promis this is the last combination you will see!)
Isn't this a fantastic orange nailpolish? How do you like this colour?

flormar nail enamel - Blackstar Red

Happy Sunday Beauties!

How are you today? Is it still hot where you're at or is it getting colder like here in Munich? Today I want to show you an autumn manicure. A few days ago I showed you my tribal accent nail in combination with claire's - Splash. This lookes very summery but I wanted to try a different look and went with one of my new flormar polishes: Blackstar Red (352).
Blackstar red is a deep auburn creme polish that is just perfect for the upcoming season. I love how beautiful this red with the brown touch looks and I love, that it looks good on me. What do you think?
Also Blackstar Red has an amazing formula and is almost opaque in one single coat, but just to make sure everything is picture perfect I used two coats for this manicure. And look how shiny and glossy it is without a topcoat. Fantastic! This polish didn't require any cleanup and spread evenly.
As you can see there is also a bit of red in my tribal accent nail. I did use the same polish, but only applied it once so it looks more red than on my other nails. I still think this colour goes perfectly with the homemade decal.
How do you like this combo? Are you ready for autumn yet or yould you prefer to see some more summer manicures? Have a wonderful day!

claire's - Splash & Tribal Accent Nail

Hello Beauties!

After showing you the last part of my Berlin Shopping Spree yesterday, I want to share with you one of the shown polishes. This is claire's - Splash.
First let me direct your attention to the tribal accent nail I'm wearing. As you may have noticed I am totally into stamping and accent nails lately and so I decided to use another pattern from the BP - 31 plate. After filling it in with colour and letting it dry over night I applied it to my ringfinger and cut off any excess before I sealed it in with Seche Vite.
I love this colourful pattern! But once I applied the decl I was facing a tiny problem. I could not decide wich colour I should be wearing on the rest of my nails... After a while I made up my mind and went with Splash.

Splash is a gorgeous blueish aqua creme polish with a soft white/silver pearl shimmer and a fantastic formula. It was easy to apply and totally opaque with two coats. The shimmer gives it an almost metallic or liquid foil like appearance, but without the brushstrokes. I think this is a gorgeouse colour for summer.
Even though I was happy with my choice at first I only wore it for a very short time befor I took off the turquoise polish and replaced it with a different colour. Interested in how that turned out? I will show it to you soon!
How do you like Splash? Would you still wear blue in autumn? What would be your choice of colour to go with this accent nail?

2k beauty - Mauve & Lilac

Hello Lovelies!

Today I want to show you two polishes from my 2k beuty set. As my main colour I used Mauve and added Lilac as an accent on my ringfinger.

Mauve is a dark brownish purple creme polish with a good formula. The first coat went on a bit streaky, but the second coat leveled that out beautifully. It didn't take too long to dry and has a very glossy finish. For these swatches I used a Maybelline base coat and no topcoat.

Lilac is a metallic creme polish with a slightly frosty finish. Ithe formula was easy to work with on the first coat, but the second one was a bit streaky. I had to apply more polish to the brush than I usually would for a merallic polish. Therefore there are more visible brushstrokes. I guess I could have done a third coat to level that out, but the bottles are so tiny and I didn't want to waste any polish on a perfectly opaque nail... Besides I wanted to add some rhinestones to my ringfingers anyway.

I covered Mauve with seche vite before I used an orange stick and a bit of clear polish to apply the trianglular rhinestones to my Lilac nails. After taking a few pictures I also applied Seche Vite to my ringfingers. Even though I was very generouse with the polish, tiny bubbles formed around the edges of the rhinestones.

I do like both colours a lot. In these pictures the Mauve polish appears a tad more brownish than it really is. In real life it was more on the purple side. Nevertheless I think the triangular rhinestones look really good! It reminds me a little of a tribal pattern.

What do you think about this manicure? Do you like your rhinestones in different shapes?
