Mandala Stamping

Hello Beauties!

I am still alive! Thank you for your patience this last week. My internet connection suddenly went down a week ago and it took the cable company forever to send over a techinician. This morning they made final adjustments and as you can see I am back online! Yay! :-D It feels so good.
Today I want to show you a manicure I did on p2 - be my guy that I first shared with you about two weeks ago. I used Maybelline - Gold All Night to stamp on the blue and glittery background.
The image I was using on all of my nails is the left carriage wheel. I find the design very appealing. It reminds me of a mandala with its symmetric pattern.
The design did transfer very well, but on my indexfinger it partially stuck on the stamper.I still am happy with this manicure. In real life it looked even better than it does in these pictures. The contrast between the blue and gold and even between the glitter and gold was higher. The flash from the camera reflected on the golden polish and makes it a bit hard to see.
To add some depht to my design I decided to place light blue rhinestones to the center of the pattern on each nail. The design looks kind of like the suns I used to draw when I was a kid. (Okay, I still do, when I am painting with my niece and nephew...)
I hope you are alright and had a good week and weekend. I have to do some serious blog reading and catching up this week. Being offline for 8 days is terrible! I even missed to blog about my September favourites, but I will still do that sometime this week.

I hope you do like this design as much as I do. Does it remind you of a mandala too?

Green Glitter Gradient

Hello Beauties!

Happy Sunday! Sorry for my absence yesterday. There was just so much to do after a week of being sick, that I didn't have time to write a blogpost. Today I have to show you a beautiful fall manicure that I first intended to wear as an accent nail only but ended up doing on all my nails.

The green polish I used as a base is 210 from trend IT UP. It is from the same line as the apricot polish I swatched for you a few days ago. See the post here. And yes it is very smelly too! I really love the green colour with a hint of blue, but I guess I will not be using it anymore. I can not stand the smell.
It was however the perfect base to create a glitter gradient on. First I added a little bit of Holographic Pearls and then went over it with p2 - start wild!.
I really loved the look of this combination a lot and felt like doing a full glitter manicure.

And here is the result. It reminds me a bit of Christmas with all that sparkle, but I think it also looks great for fall.

I wish you all a happy Sunday. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and take care!

Hope you like this glitter gradient. Would you wear it in autumn?

p2 - Color Victim - be my guy

Hello Sweeties!

Please excuse that todays post is going to be a bit shorter. I caught a cold and had a fever last night and so I am not feeling too good this morning. Today I want to share with you a real beauty from p2. This is be my guy (333) from their Color Victim line.
I love those polishes so much! The 8mL bottles are sold for €1,55 and always come in seasonal colours. They have great formulas. In fact I never came across one with a bad formula.
Be my guy is a dark sapphire blue leaning towards navy blue creme polish with silver microglitter in it. Now that I look at it in the pictures I think it would make a greate base colour for a galaxy manicure. It already remings me of a nightsky full of twinkling stars.
The formula is once more excellent and didn't require any cleanup. With two coats be my guy was perfectly opaque and they both applied evenly. And look how sparkly it is in direct sunlight! I am so glad I bought this polish in my Berlin haul!

As an accent I layered over Revlon - Holographic Pearls on my ringfinger and thumb.
How do you like this blue polish?

Berlin Shopping Spree - Day 3

Hello Beauties!

Happy Wednesday! Today I want to show you the final part of my Berlin Shopping Spree - Day 3. Check out the first two parts here: Day 1 & Day 2.
I want to start with the claire's polishes. They still had the same deal that I mentioned in my previous post (link above): Buy 3 Pay 2. And additionally all polishes were on sale for only 2€. The green one on the left was even down to 1€.
Cloud - Pastel Neons - Magical Unicorn - Velour - Disco Ball - Splash - Mirror Green

Next up are some new kiko polishes:
Violet Microglitter (255) - Vino Perlato (493) - Pearly Red (492)

I also got these two beauties from p2:
good deal (619) - high five (628)

My favourite drugstore is called dm. dm is short for Drogerie Markt wich means drugstore. Simple name huh? :-D They recently launched the new trend it up line (info in the link in German, but still some gorgeous pics!). I bought one Holo Dimension and three Double Volume & Shine polishes. Sadly they don't have names...
040 - 050 - 270 - 210

I also bought some more flormar polishes. I simply had to go back to the store since we don't have one in Munich and I didn't know when I'll get the chance to lay my hands on them again.
395 -236 - Violet Primrose (415) - 391

Candy Apple (SC01) - Sweet Grape (SC07) - Blueberry Gummy (SC02) -
 072 - Atomic Bomb (GG06)

I am so pleased with all my purchases. What would you want me to try first?

Berlin Shopping Spree - Day 2

Hello Loves!

I can not wait to show you the second part of my Berlin Shopping Spree. I had such a lovely time picking all of them out and it makes me smile and remember each time I look at one of them. Do you know the feeling? I love to buy polish on vacation!
Let's get started with the claire's polishes I bought. Usually their polish is between €2,99 to €3,99 for the 10mL bottle, but they all were on sale for only €2.-! And furthermore they had a special deal on everything. Buy 3 pay 2. So I ended up paying only €4.- for three bottles of polish wich is about €1,30 each. Amazing! My first picks were these neon polishes:
California Girl - Stormy Day - Rave - Electric - Cobalt - Pinball
(check out this mixed neon manicure)

Glazed Donut - Junk - Pomegranate/Mango
The yellow and blue glitter polish are scented nail polishes. I am really excited to try those!

Bouquet - #Metallic Red - Runway

From the new essence the gel nail polish line I bought these three:
brazil jungle (26) - va-va-voom (47) - my love diary (48)

p2 LE - caipirinha (010), essence The Metals - born to be wild (25), catrice LE Doll's Collection - Hide & Green (C03), RdL - lady look (05), RdL - million diamonds (#04),
p2 LE Beyond Lagoon - sunburst yellow (020)

Most of the polishes above were on sale too. I do not remember how much they were exactly, but I guess around €1,50. Except for the p2 LE ones. They were definitely not on sale, but they are not very expensive.

And then I discovered a flormar store in a shopping mall. I have read a lot about their nail polish online, but we do not have a store in Munich and I didn't even know there were stores in Germany. I was really excited to see, that they had many polishes on sale. I bought bottles for as little as €1.- up to €2,50. I will just write down the names/numbers below and will go into details when I swatch them. Some only have numbers on so I will have to find out if thes do have names too.
Golden Orchid (394) - Holographic Silver (392) - Electric Impulse (GG01) - Roll the Wheel (GG03) - Stardust (GG04) - Time Freezer (GG07)

Juicy Melon (SC08) - Lime Bonbon (SC04) - S04 - S02 - 060 - 239 - Blackstar Red (352)

What are your favourites here? I think I will try the neon polishes first as long as the summer lasts and move on to the darker ones in autumn. Wich polish would you like to see on my nails?

Berlin Shopping Spree - Day 1

Hello Beauties!

How are you today? I finally got around to taking pictures of all the beautiful polishes I bought while I was on vacation in Berlin. There were so many different stores and I had to go in to each one of them and could once again not resist buing nail polish. A lot of it to be exact. I had to devide my purchases and decided to go by the days I spent there. So you will get two more posts of this kind shortly!
Most of the polishes I got were on sale wich you can tell by the red stickers on!
First let me show you one of my favourite brands: catrice. I looted six on sale polishes.
My Yellow Fellow (81) - Pure Blue (C03 LE Nude Purism) - Isle Of White (C01 LE Travel De Luxe) - CadiLILAC (71) - It's Time For Lovender (64) - Bronze Upon A Time (06 Million Brilliance)

The p2 polishes were not on sale. They are from the new collection for autum.
try some more (336) - be my guy (333) - makes me happy (332) - kiss me pumpkin (335) - heat some cocoa (334)
I love these colours and can't wait to try them, but they have to wait for a few more weeks. I still want to swatch so many summery colours before! :-D

Next up are some Rival de Loop polishes from different lines and collection. I will mention all the details when I swatch them for you.
Flamingo Flower (03) - sunny look (03) - pastel look (02)

sides: magic dream (#31) - fantasia (#30)
middle: 407 - 505 - 502 (no names unfortunetely)
pic below: Blogger's Collection - mermaid of calabria (03)
And two Yves Rocher polishes:
Melon nacré (104) - Iris (34)

I love each and every one of the polishes here and am so excited to try them out. Do you have any preferences on wich one to swatch first?
Are you ready for autumn yet or are you still in summer mode? Let me know what you'd like to see.
