Stamping on Ruby Kisses - Twinkling Mauve

Hello Beauties!

Oh my, where did that day go... Time went by so quickly. So here is an evening post for you today and I want to do a quick one, since it is pretty late.
Using my Nailfun stamping polish in black I did a little flower design on Ruby Kisses - Twinkling Mauve.

Since Twinkling Mauve is pretty shiny and metallic it is pretty hard to see the whole design on the pictures very well si I decided to show it to you also on my plain nail. I used the Konad stampingplate m82. This flower and butterfly design is on the bottom of the plate.

To add a bit more colour I placed one dot of essence brit-tea - Green Tea For Two into the center of each flower.
I am pretty happy with the way this manicure turned out. I still have to work a bit on my aim to make it a bit more even on all my nails, but I really think it looks cute. Especially the little butterfly.

What do you think about this manicure? Do you like my stamped flowers?

splash stamping on essie - mezmerised

Hello everyone!

And happy Saturday! Today I want to show you a stamped manicure I recently did on essie - mezmerised. This Splash manicure is perfect for spring or summer.

Using an essence stamping plate and a couple of different polishes, I stamped on four to seven dots on each of my nails. This was a bit time consuming, but totally worth it.
I usually take a picture that shows the name of the polishes I've used for a manicure to make things easier when writing a blogpost, but I have to admit, that I totally forgot it this time and that I am too lazy right now to get up and have a second look at all these polishes. But I think it is not that important. You can use any polish you like for this manicure anyway! :-D

These pictures show the manicure immediately after stamping. There are still a few rough edges and the spots don't exactly match and come together very well.

After topcoating it the colours were combined better, there were no more edges. And I think it also helped bringing out the pattern better and on top of that it seals it in and protects the hard work I put into this manicure. So my recommendation is to use a good top coat when you do a stamped mani.
As you can see my stamping skills are still not the best, but for this manicure it was totally okay in my eyes, that some dots did not transfer to the nail completely. I just stamped another colour closely next to it.

I think this is a fun manicure for a day on the beach or by the pool.

How do you like it? Is this a mani you would wear? How are your stamping skills?

Amazon Haul

Hello lovelies!

About two weeks ago I purchased a few polishes online at Amazon. You have seen some of them in previous posts. I just did not have time to post this earlier. So here we go:
These two three-packs were on sale, because they were made for the Fussball WM 2014 in Brazil. I purchased Brazil and England/France.
Urban Turquoise - Electric Yellow - Ocean Blue -- Marinho - Marshmallow - Power Red
On the back of each pack you find the instructions on how to create the countries flag on your nails.

And here is a little surprise for you: I've purchased Electric Yellow and Blue Ocean before and now they are in my collection twice. So I thought this would be a nice way to give back to my supporters and followers. I will launch a giveaway once I've reached 100 twitter followers that will include these two and a bit more. If you are not following me yet, do that for a chance to win and tell your friends!
You can find me on twitter @newpolishlover .

I also purchased a few Wet n Wild polishes. Above you can see Steel the show. Below are some polishes from their fastdry line.
Furthermore I bought two L'Oreal top coats: Matte & Gold Lurex. And some stuff for stamping: Konad stamper, scraper and plate m81 and 3 stampingpolishes.
Do you by your polish and nail art supplies online?
