Huge Polish Haul

Hello Lovelies!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Did you do something special with your Mom? I made another shopping trip last week and found a few neat bargains, that I simply could not resist. Furthermore a few polishes I ordered online finally arrived and I decided to show all of them to you at once. Here we go:

These ANNY polishes were half price off. I guess they are from last season, but I don't care about that too much. I wear what I like on my nails, when I feel like it.

I also got a few more of the Ruby Kisses polishes that I only recently discovered in a local drugstore. And guess what, they were on sale for only €1.99!

And here are my online purchases: First up is a brand I've never heard of: Lindalac. It doesn't say much on the bottle, but you can tell it is a brand from Spain. They don't have names.

And another spanish brand: Yes Love. I bought a pack of 6 glitter polishes for about €1.- each. Also no names just numbers. They go from G13-1 to G13-6 in the order below. (left to right)

And now here comes my favourite: I found a box of essie polishes for €40.- on ebay. It contained 9 regular polishes and 6 mini polishes. One colour came in regular & mini and I will include one of them in my next giveaway! essence - the gel nail polish - prince charming

Hello Beauties!

Today I want to show you one of the new essence - the gel nail polishes, that I recently purcased: prince charming (25). 

Prince charming is a greenish turquoise with the most beautiful duachrome pearl shimmer, that shifts from blue to green with a hint of purple.

For todays manicure I used the base and topcoat that come with this new line. The basecoat is fantastic! It is so easy to apply and dries very quickly. Prince charming also has a great formula. The first coat went on a tiny bit streaky, but the second layered that out completely.

The topcoat is also just wonderful. It reminds me a bit of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat wich is my go to topcoat. Within minutes the polish is dry and super glossy.

Natalia from Polished Polyglot did a great rewiew last week of one of the gel nail polishes. Check it out! It encouraged me to paint my nails directly before going to bed. I was finished maybe half an hour before I laid down. The first thing I did in the morning was taking a look at my nails and being happy they weren't smudged or scratched at all.

Around noon I finally got a chance to take pictures in sunlight wich will show you prince charming's real charme! :-D Here you can see the beautiful shimmer, that I instantly fell in love with. Although in nature it is even prettier. The camera doesn't do this polish much justice.

Since there are so many great polishes I still want to try on and swatch for you, I will not do a durability test of prince charming now. essence - the gel nail polish - frozen kiss

Hello everyone!

Today I want to show you one of the polishes I recently bought. (See yesterdays post here.) It is actually the first polish I've tried from the new essence - the gel nail polish by the name frozen kiss (42).

I was not planning on wearing this polish for very long so I did not use the base coat that you should use with these polishes. I applied two layers of frozen kiss to my nails. The formula was excellent. It spread evenly and dried quickly. 

Frozen kiss looks like it has a textured finish, but it actually doesn't. It is very shiny and almost metallic. The colour is anywhere between white, silver and champagne depending on the lighting.

I like it best in direct sunlight. It looks like snowballs on the nails! So this polish will probably make an appearance on the blog around Christmas again.

I like this polish a lot. The colour is beautiful and the finish is quite unique. I really can not tell you how long these gel polishes will last, but I will give it a try soon!

Hello Beauties!

It has been a while since my last post and I bought a few new polishes since then that I want to share with you today! During the Easter Holidays my aunt visited me in Munich and we explored some drugstores that I have never been in and I made great discoveries!

I have seen a lot of Ruby Kisses polish on other blogs and social media, but never could find it around here. But now I know where to get them! Here are my picks:

Purple Fever - Magenta - Twinkling Mauve - Steel Magnolia - Millionaire Green

They had so many lovely colours to choose from and I barely managed to limit myself to only these 5 shades. Took real will power... :-D

Also essence launched a new line recently and I had to get a few of those too. The line is called the gel nail polish and contains 46 gorgeouse new colours.

They come with a base and topcoat to make the polish last even longer. Furthermore I bought two new effect polishes that I finally could get my hands on. They were always out of stock when I was looking for them.

I have been looking at this gorgeouse polish a couple of times before and didn't buy it. I can not tell you why I was hesitant. This is such a lovely colour and you will get to see it on my nails shortly.

I also got some nail art supplies. I love these little rhinestones. They contain stars, moons, squares, droplets and many more and I am eager to try them out! And I got two containers of nail transfer foils. They both look so pretty. The only thing is that I forgot to order the glue right with them and so I have to wait for that to arrive a bit longer... :-(

I really am quite happy with my findings and will share some soon!
