ANNY - diva

Hello Beauties!

Today I want to show you a great spring polish. This is ANNY - diva (220) from my Easter Haul.
Diva is a lilac creme polish with a wonderful formula. It is so easy to apply and will not give you any trouble at all. I applied two thin layers for full opacity wich dried quickly. The polish is quite glossy on its own, but in these pictures you see it with Seche Vite topcoat.

What I love about this polish is that it looks a bit different in each light. Sometimes it is leaning towards blue, sometimes it is brownish or on the purple side. For a monochrome polish the variety is pretty awesome.
I think it is the perfect colour for late spring. Looking outside of my window right now, I see so many similar colours in our garden. Blooming flowers, trees and bushes don't lie, do they? :-)

Here are some impressions from the garden, that totally fit this wonderful polish:

I really love this gorgeous colour! How do you like this polish? Is diva a colour for you?

Huge Polish Haul

Hello Lovelies!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Did you do something special with your Mom? I made another shopping trip last week and found a few neat bargains, that I simply could not resist. Furthermore a few polishes I ordered online finally arrived and I decided to show all of them to you at once. Here we go:
These ANNY polishes were half price off. I guess they are from last season, but I don't care about that too much. I wear what I like on my nails, when I feel like it.
ready to go - little mountain cat - mountain resort - dancing in the rain
Misslyn: smoothie nail polish - kiwi bomb & mini - lilac poison.
Another essence - the gel nail polish: girl's best friend (43) (see my others here.)
NYX: Louscious Green - Fame - Purple Ink

I also got a few more of the Ruby Kisses polishes that I only recently discovered in a local drugstore. And guess what, they were on sale for only €1.99!
Sunflower - Solid Copper - Blue Pearl - Silver Bling - Campaigned Out - All Purpled Out

And here are my online purchases: First up is a brand I've never heard of: Lindalac. It doesn't say much on the bottle, but you can tell it is a brand from Spain. They don't have names.
313 - 18 - 317
And another spanish brand: Yes Love. I bought a pack of 6 glitter polishes for about €1.- each. Also no names just numbers. They go from G13-1 to G13-6 in the order below. (left to right)
And now here comes my favourite: I found a box of essie polishes for €40.- on ebay. It contained 9 regular polishes and 6 mini polishes. One colour came in regular & mini and I will include one of them in my next giveaway! Follow my blog to find out more on that! :-D Now let me show you what we have here: The essie summer mini kit 2014
haute in the heat - ruufles & feathers - roarrrrange
full steamahead - Leading Lady - Beyond Cozy
LOVE IT!
status symbol - too taboo - haute in the heat - russian roulette - cocktails & coconuts
jazzy jubilant - for the twill of it - vice versa - chills & thrills

That's it for now! Stay tuned for my Mothers Day nails. They will be on the blog this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

Do you have any favourites? One polish you would really like to see swatched?

Misslyn - Oriental Emerald

Hello Lovelies!

How is your weekend going? Are you enjoying the weather? Today I want to show you something sparkly! This is Misslyn - oriental emerald from their velvet diamonds line. I have been wanting to buy this polish for a while now, but for some reason didn't before. I finally got it and I can tell you I do not regret it! (See the whole haul here.)
Oriental emerald is a sheer turquoise jelly polish packed with lots of different iridescent glitter. Mainly there are small and mini hexes, but there also are some square glitter pieces in, wich make this polish really special. Since it is so sheer and I am not a fan of VNL, I decided to layer it over another polish. I used two coats of ANNY - surf the wave and only one coat of the oriental emerald.

I really love the formula of this polish. With all the glitter in it I expected it to be a bit clumpy, but it went on smooth and even. As you can see in these pictures, if you look closely, It dries to a gritty finish.

But with a good layer of topcoat, it smoothes out and shines even more. I love how it sparkles in sunlight. The bigger square junks reflect the light really well.

To make you see best, I took some blurry shots in sunlight.
To try something else I decided to put on essie - mezmerised on my thumb to see how oriental emerald looks over a darker blue polish. And I think it looks amazing! Even better than on the light blue polish. It reminds me of a summer night sky. I also only used one coat of glitter here. I tried it out with a second layer later on, but that was too much bling and I did not like it anymore.

Sorry for the shadow in this picture. Did not see it, when I took the pics.
Can you tell that I am in love with this polish? Isn't it amazing?

ANNY - surf the wave

Hello Lovelies!

How are you today? Anything special going on?
Today I want to show you another polish from my latest haul. This is the lovely ANNY - surf the wave (378). It actually only is the second polish from this brand I have tried so far, but since I liked the first polish very much, I was happy to try this one out. (See ANNY - midtown skyline)
Surf the wave is a light teal creme polish with a purplish pearl shimmer. It has a great formula, that is a bit on the thin side, but not runny. It was easy to apply, spread out smoothly and dried quickly. With two coats surf the wave is fully opaque. Due to the pearl shimmer there are a few visible brushstrokes, but they are hardly visible. You really have to look closely so see them. Furthermore it has a slightly matte finish, wich I think is really lovely for this colour. For these swatches I used a Maybelline base coat and no top coat.

Isn't this a gorgeous summer polish? Girlie and elegant at the same time! Perfect for the beach or a girls night out. I bet it would look even prettier with a bit of a tan.
This definitely is a polish I will be wearing again. This brand really is growing on me! :-D It is a bit more expensive though (about 10€ per bottle) and I was glad to get this one for the half prize. Lucky me!

How do you like surf the wave? Do you like ANNY polish?

Latest Polish Purchase

Hello Beauties!

It has been a while since my last post and I bought a few new polishes since then that I want to share with you today! During the Easter Holidays my aunt visited me in Munich and we explored some drugstores that I have never been in and I made great discoveries!
I have seen a lot of Ruby Kisses polish on other blogs and social media, but never could find it around here. But now I know where to get them! Here are my picks:
Purple Fever - Magenta - Twinkling Mauve - Steel Magnolia - Millionaire Green

They had so many lovely colours to choose from and I barely managed to limit myself to only these 5 shades. Took real will power... :-D
Also essence launched a new line recently and I had to get a few of those too. The line is called the gel nail polish and contains 46 gorgeouse new colours.
bubble gum - indigo to go - wonderfuel - prince charming - frozen kiss

They come with a base and topcoat to make the polish last even longer. Furthermore I bought two new effect polishes that I finally could get my hands on. They were always out of stock when I was looking for them.
truth or dare? - #rebel
ANNY: surf the wave - diva
p2 - color victim: kind of crazy
Misslyn - velvet diamond: oriental emerald

I have been looking at this gorgeouse polish a couple of times before and didn't buy it. I can not tell you why I was hesitant. This is such a lovely colour and you will get to see it on my nails shortly.
I also got some nail art supplies. I love these little rhinestones. They contain stars, moons, squares, droplets and many more and I am eager to try them out! And I got two containers of nail transfer foils. They both look so pretty. The only thing is that I forgot to order the glue right with them and so I have to wait for that to arrive a bit longer... :-(

I really am quite happy with my findings and will share some soon!
How do you like these polishes? Any favourites so far? Wich one would you like too see swatched?
